The Gallego Microlot comes from a small family farm in Colombia — the kind of lot where every cherry gets individual attention because the farmer's name and livelihood are directly attached to it. Scored at SCA 84+, it sits firmly in specialty territory and has the complexity to justify that score. This one is for people who enjoy exploring what a single farm, a single harvest, and careful processing can produce.

The Roast
Microlots like this one are roasted lighter than our blends — the goal is to preserve what the farm produced, not to add roast character on top of it. We log every development phase carefully; microlot batches are small and there's no margin for error. The result is a coffee where the origin does the talking and the roast stays out of the way.

Tried this for the first time from their coffee hatch beside the ferry terminal. The smell is to die for and the flavour is intense. Perfect for any time of the day.
We like to try new coffees/brands but without a doubt always come back to the Colombia Gallego Microlot, we have even bought it for friends along the way who always like it too! The only thing worth noting is we thought it would be too weak for us (because we usually go for a 4/5) being only a 3/5 strength and ALMOST didn't buy it even when we compare the whole beans beside other brands its darker to look at I am so glad we tried it as it is now my favourite! Always so fresh and delicious. We often buy a big bag to take with us when we travel. We use a manual press and make lattes/flat whites and its divine!

Fantastic freshly roasted coffee. This bean has a fantastic taste which is great to drink at all times of the day. Well done for the variety of beans and blends that are available. Will make sure to always keep some Strangford coffee beans ready for a cup.
Great choice for a nice cuppa. Beans are best so that each cup can be from freshly ground.
I'm normally a Columbian medium roast type and this is the best example of that I've had a stunning morning coffee for all occasions, Columbian is normally my main driver for a coffee and this is the best the of the best.
