This Peruvian is certified organic — grown without synthetic inputs in the cloud forests of northern Peru, typically in the regions of Cajamarca or San Martín. It's a balanced, easygoing medium roast that doesn't try to be the loudest coffee in the room. Smooth, clean, and consistent; the kind of everyday drinker you're happy to reach for without thinking too much about it.
🫘 Roasted fresh daily — shipped the same day. Arrives fresh, not stale.
Tasting Notes
- Dark chocolate — clean and straightforward, no bitterness
- Roasted walnut — a dry, nutty note that runs through the cup
- Brown sugar — gentle, natural sweetness
- Mild citrus — a quiet brightness that stops it being flat
- Smooth, medium body — easy drinking, no rough edges
The Roast
Roasted to a medium profile that suits the naturally mild character of Peruvian coffee. The organic certification matters here — cleaner soil and processing tend to produce cleaner cups, and you can taste it. We keep the roast curve steady and moderate so the nutty, chocolatey notes develop properly without the roast itself becoming the dominant flavour.
Works For
- Cafetière — immersion brewing suits the smooth, balanced profile
- Espresso — clean shots, approachable for milk-based drinks
- Moka pot — works well with the medium body
- V60 or filter — a straightforward, satisfying cup

About This Coffee
This coffee is grown in the Cajamarca region of northern Peru, under shade and to certified organic standards. It's fully washed, which keeps the profile clean and consistent from batch to batch. The shade-grown approach means slower ripening, which tends to favour balance over intensity.
Tasting Notes
Gentle and balanced, with a soft caramel sweetness and a mild nutty finish. Roasted medium, it stays even-tempered from first sip to last.
Brewing
It's versatile enough for cafetière, filter, or espresso. A genuinely good everyday coffee that won't overpower whatever you're having with it.
